Rex wrote:Mordecai hadn't the faintest idea what this entailed, so he inquired "Executioners as in taking heads?" "Aye," the burly ringmaster snarled, "taking heads, for I shall have my vengeance in this life or the next. Which takes us to your pledge of pointing out the culprit to me. And let me assure you that doing so would prove rewarding." It better be, von Schweinstein thought to hisself as he slowly got up. By his unsteadfast ways one could gather that the nectar had taken effect.

"For a bottle or two of your fine drink I would be more than happy to accuse the dastardly creature that killed Bobo. Nevertheless, since we are now brethren executioners et all, I propose you let me handle this on your behalf. And let me assure you that it will be done thoroughly." Ragnarok's eyes narrowed as he hissed "And what assurance will I have of your dutiful accomplishment of this task?" Mordecai looked decisive, "I shall bring you his head on a platter."

Meanwhile the maidens had been busy in the kitchen stripping the ogre carcass of its flesh, which came to about 30 stone, organs not inclusive. They were now cutting the meat into thinner slices and hanging them on a rack to be smoked on a pine fire all through the night. The ringmaster sat in the gloomy hall contemplating, then he addressed his guest "You have not convinced me to delegate this most personal matter into your hands. Let me ponder on it and you'll know in the morne." And so they went to sleep.

Around daybreak Mordecai awoke from a tumultuous dream. He couldn't remember all the details because his head was heavy and pounding. Damned liquor, he thought to hisself as he slowly raised his head, then his torso and finally swung his legs from under the warm fur onto the cold floor. The chill went straight up his spine so he quickly put on some socks. Once dressed he left the sleeping quarters and went down to the kitchen, where a handful of maidens were busy catering to Ragnarok in more ways than one.

"Good morne to y'all," von Schweinstein croaked, "I hope I'm not interrupting anything," he paused to take in a rather delightful pine scent, "but the thing is I should probably be on my way. Have you contemplated my offer?" The ringmaster seemed preoccupied but forced hisself to moan "Aye, I shall... ooh... take you... aah... up on your offer. If you succeed... watch those teeth woman... you shall receive anything you desire. My wenches have...holy Sindar... prepared a knappsack for you with...argh... food and drink..."

Clearly there was nothing more to be learned from him so Mordecai picked up the knappsack and put it on his back. He bid Ragnarok and his giggling damsels goodday and went outside to find the span of the chariot undone and the horses tied to the wall, feeding on fresh hay. He couldn't tell which was the lead horse, so he picked out the largest one and untied it before mounting. He felt the urge to take one for the cleric, so he untied another horse and fastened its line. And thus Mordecai rode out into the forest.

Your roleplaying is horrible, and you are ruining the RP by stalling. Furthermore, you are not in touch with the small bit of lore that I don't give you the liberty to think up yourself, you did not listen when I informed you of this, and you are, in the above post, posting lewd material, a direct violation of the ToS, and a bannable offence. I hereby expel you from the Legends of Marodora thread. Expect a notice much like this one on OFES.
