These apply to the serious forums but may also be enforced elsewhere if necessary.  This is not an attempt to make people feel bullied or anything - just the opposite.  Its about cleaning up the forum by a set of rules that clearly let people know whats going to happen if they fuck up.  This will be changed and updated as necessary and as the moderators feel is appropriate. I have enjoyed a good thread derailing as much as the next guy.  However, we can't let it make our house dirty.


First Level Offenses (2 day ban or Warning):

• Low-content Posting
• Personal Attacks
• Getting more than 3 threads locks in a week (Bad Thread Creation)
• Thread Derailing in Debate and Discussion, True Believers, or Vets by context

Second Level Offenses

• Repeated First level Offenses - 6 day ban
• Habitual Low-content Posting - Daily Post Maximum, or 2 day ban
• Habitual Bad Thread Creation - Loss of right to create threads or 2 day ban each thread
• Habitual Abuse and Attacks - 7 day ban

Life-Ban Offenses:

• Repeated breaking of Second Level Offenses
• Threatening another member
• "Stalking" another member
• First post is clearly spam/personal attack/obscene
• Asks to be banned
• Posting Obscenities or Illegal Material
